Given the spoiler that James may have a Prince and the Pauper situation coming up, I wonder if it'll turn out that Kathryn is actually married to (or was romantically with) the "pauper" version of him. In Storybrooke, I mean. If she breaks out some photos of the two of them, that could explain it. Or that's what I'll be hoping for, at least!

That is a fascinating thought! That would explain a lot. I feel like Regina's claim that David was saying Kathryn's name in his sleep was not true. She is just too suspicious.

That is a fascinating thought! That would explain a lot. I feel like Regina's claim that David was saying Kathryn's name in his sleep was not true. She is just too suspicious. Oh, yeah. I don't trust a word she says. Even if Kathryn had a relationship with the "other" guy - not David - I suspect Regina knows about it and is using it. Making me wonder he's really David or if Kathryn's being duped, as well. That would be interesting, don't you think? I mean, suppose Kathryn WAS in a relationship with this guy, David, and they had a fight and he left. Only HE really DID leave town. Regina goes to her and says, "Hey, I found your David. He's in a coma." Well, Kathryn may not know he has a doppleganger out there, so she sees a guy in a hospital bed who looks like her David. He doesn't know who he is. So who's to say he's NOT her David? Okay, I don't honestly think that's what's going on. If Regina's pulling strings, I suspect Kathryn's in on it. (Why? Because I'm a Snow/James shipper, and she's totally standing in the way of my ship. Therefore, I automatically assume she's an evil hosebeast who should be eaten alive by a pack of rabid wolverines. I'm loyal to my ships that way.) But still, it would be an interesting twist. If Kathryn really DID think that this guy was David and they had a whole history together...

I'm not sure if Regina knows she's the Evil Queen, but I think I saw a snippet of an interview where the producer or something said she did know... wish I could find it! I think even if Kathryn wasn't in on it, it would make sense for Regina to do that so she could ruin David and Mary Margaret's happy ending like she wanted.

Yes. Regina knows she's cast the spell and that they're from Fairy Tale Land. It was in a recent Entertainment Weekly issue (the one with Twilight on the cover).

Oh, yes. I think Regina knows. And I'm pretty sure Rumple remembers, too. Regina suspects he remembers.
The jury is still out for me on Kathryn. I hate her on sheer principle, but at least as far as we've seen in the last couple of episodes, she's not been set up as a despicable character. But I still think there's more going on there than meets the eye. Well, naturally.
