Surprised there is no discussion going on yet . I really enjoyed learning about Rumpelstiltskin's backstory and how it left us wondering what happened once he became the dark one. The parallel between Rumpelstiltskin and his son with Emma and Henry were very well done, and the nice contrast of how R's son looked at him in fear in the end and how Henry see's Emma as a hero in the end. The episode did a good job expanding on Rumpelstiltskin, Emma, and Henry's characters and showing where each is coming from and a bit more about their motivations.

Sorry I haven't been on to discuss this episode! A friend of mine got engaged over the weekend, so I've been quite busy with celebratory things. I still haven't seen it myself. However, once I get things a bit under control this week, I can't wait to get caught up on things...and back to Once Upon a Time! Been a CRAZY holiday season!

It was an extremely predictable episode and that's probably what killed it for me. No twists and turns at all. And Henry is seriously getting on my nerves now.
PS: Where's Mary/David? That seems to be the only storyline that's holding my interest at the moment.

Thanks everyone for holding down the fort in my absence! I hope there are still active people on here, wanting to chat.
I was a bit behind on episodes, though I caught up last night. Sorry to everyone for my prologued absence. We had a death in the family last week, so this week is a little hectic, but I'll be on soon to post thoughts about the last couple episodes and hopefully get the conversational ball rolling!

I did like Rumple's backstory, but I gotta admit that I'm MORE curious to know if his son is still out there in Storybrooke somewhere. And, if so, if he's going to come back to make things interesting at some point in Mr. Gold's future.
