Firefly is fantastic, but Buffy always has a place in my heart. I began watching it when I was 33! Back when I was pregnant with my almost 13yo. I remember my pregnancy hormones causing me to angst heavily over Becoming part 2. No point in outgrowing stuff... good storytelling is timeless!

I don't know yet. I'm worried I'm going to be. I feel those warning signs. ' And my best friend (also known as Leela) is well aware of my sickness/OCD which she doesn't share. So as she said, she abandons it and leaves me trapped.
I really shouldn't watch anything first run. I should wait until it's all over and decide if the water is safe. Leap of faith here! So If this goes south...nobody bails. And I mean NOBODY (sister dear).

Hi guys! I'm new here, and relatively new to the OUAT fandom. I love Disney and Jane Austen, and, in real life, I like running, philosophy, and theology. Nice to meet everyone

Hi guys! I'm new here, and relatively new to the OUAT fandom. I love Disney and Jane Austen, and, in real life, I like running, philosophy, and theology. Nice to meet everyone Nice to meet you! You'll find a lot of Jane Austen fans here. Being relatively new to the fandom is not a problem - the fandom itself is fairly new! I'm currently working on getting my mom as addicted to the show as I am, since it would make my life so much easier. (The holiday season is so hectic, and Sana and I may not be able to have our epic marathon phone sessions. I gotta find something to fill the void!) Anyway, it's nice to have you and I look forward to chatting with you on the boards!

Thank you! That's cool, I hope your mom starts to watch it with you! I'm at college so I just watch the episodes by myself most of the time, but the girl in the dorm room next to me loves OUAT too! We are henceforth best friends See ya round the forum~

Welcome!! I managed to get my mother addicted to "OuaT" and "Castle" while she was visiting here. I consider it one of my finest achievements.
I also love Jane Austen. *yay*

Howdy! I'm Amy, but known as hijinx or jinxie around the interwebs. I have a long history in various fandoms - Buffy, Alias, BSG, Lost...especially Lost. I was heavily involved in the Lost fandom, including being an ultra-mod for its official fan forum, going to fan parties, and even co-wrote a book about the fandom.
One of the producers of Lost who I became friends with is now a producer for OUaT, so between her involvement and Eddy & Adam's I knew I'd have to give the show a chance - and I'm SO GLAD I did. This is the first show since Lost that has led me to seek out LJ communities and a forum home, which is big because I was pretty much burned out on forums after Lost.
So I was excited to find The Enchanted Forest and am looking forward to discussing episodes and reading fanfiction ;D

Welcome, hijinx! I was also a fan of "Lost" (not huge enough to get into the online fandom, though). I watched all seasons and - other than the story/fairy tale aspect - the fact that "Lost" producers were behind the show made me want to check it out.
Does your producer friend give you spoilers or do you prefer to stay spoiler free??
I'm torn on this show. I'm usually a spoiler addict, but I'm thinking of going spoiler free for this one.

*snip* Does your producer friend give you spoilers or do you prefer to stay spoiler free?? I was a complete spoiler-phobe for LOST, which was hard since I moderated that board, but we had other mods who didn't mind spoilers handle the spoiler sub-forum People who are actually involved with the show in the higher up positions (like producer, writer, director) are actually the LEAST likely to give you spoilers, even if you ask It's usually the onset assistants or people in post-production who spill the beans. I would never ask for spoilers, which is one of the reasons we've been friends for so long I have not actively sought out spoilers for OUaT, but if I see new ones posted I have read them. It's a decision I usually make pretty early on when I get vested in a show. With Lost, I felt the spoilers could actually ruin my enjoyment of the show, because so much was built up to the big reveals. OUaT hasn't given me that vibe, so I have been okay with the spoilers I've read so far.

Hi everyone! I'm Allyson, but I'm known as either Serenyty or writerserenyty around the internet. I'm a huge TV/film nerd, especially if it's sci-fi (The X-Files is my favorite show ever, but I also love Firefly, Doctor Who, Star Trek, etc). I'm actually in college right now as a Film Studies major, and I hope to someday work in Television production! Working on a show like Once is a DREAM for me, because it really seems like everyone involved is excited to produce something amazing. I saw a lot of promos for Once and decided to give it a shot, despite my somewhat busy schedule, and I absolutely ADORED it. It quickly inspired fanart, fanfiction and a level of involvement I rarely have in fandom. Since Once has so far had five AMAZING episodes, I hope this will continue! I'm also a big knitter, I love classic literature (I saw some other people were Jane Austen fans here! =D), and my other big fandom is the JPop fandom, for which I write the blog Happy Disco (intlwota.com/happydisco). I love forums, so I was excited to find this!

Hi, I'm DJ Rocca. I'm addicted to many TV shows since I was very young but my biggest and strongest obsession is now "Once Upon A Time". I'm GROSSLY obessed with the show. I found this over at livejournal, where I'm also known as DJ Rocca. I also go by that on fanfiction.net too. I'm a hardcore Ruby fan and she is my main focus. I ship her mainly with Gold and Archie. But wait until Belle arrives. Oh boy, I'm already giddy! That's really all I feel like sharing since I have to get ready for work, which is annoying and time consuming

I feel like I want to know the simple things (like "so and so fairy tale character is coming in and is played by so and so actor"). But plot things? Like "so and so character is going to die" or "so and so character is hooking up with so and so" are things that I think I don't want to know for this show.

Glad to have you. I already checked out your art and figured out you're a huge Ruby fan. Which is awesome, because she seems quite interesting. I'm more a Snow and Emma fan right now. (Although being an Emma fan is requiring a bit of work on my part.)
